Bolton Library and Museum Services, in association with Bolton Market Place and Milliner Justine Bradley-Hill are delighted to announce their unique fashion show, at Bolton Market Place Shopping Centre, Sun 6 March, 12pm - 4pm, showcasing the range of hats that were designed by the young people of the Bolton Museum Stories of the World project. The young people involved are from Rumworth School in Bolton.
The hats have been inspired by collections in the museum, and include a flamboyant ‘Pyramid’ hat inspired by the Egyptian collection. This event is a great opportunity for the young people involved to show off their work to the public, with staff from Bolton Museum modelling their creations. There will also be master classes and workshops on the day based on the ‘Hatwalk’ theme.
Afterwards, the hats will be accessioned to the museum’s collections for potential display in the future.
