Quarry Bank Mill overflows with the atmosphere of the Industrial Revolution. A visit to the cotton mill, powered by Europe's most powerful working waterwheel, will certainly stimulate your senses.
This restored Georgian cotton mill tells the story of 'King Cotton' from raw cotton to finished cloth. The process is brought to life by machine demonstrators and interactive displays. Interpretation panels illustrate the world of the mill workers and the Apprentice House recreates the lives of the child workers. Quarry Bank Mill offer their group visitors guided tours and out of hours tours for an additional charge. On site they have a Mill restaurant which can cater up to 90 covers and they also offer a set menu and private room hire. There is coach parking available with a shuttle service from the car park down to the attraction.They recommend that groups spend 1 ½hrs minimum to visit Mill, 2 ½hrs to visit Mill and Apprentice House or Mill and Quarry Bank House Garden.

Tatton Park is one of the UK’s most complete historic estates. The Mansion, Gardens, Farm, Old Hall, 1,000 acre deer park and speciality shops offer something for everyone along with over 100 events annually.
Coaches can enter the park for free, avoiding the usual vehicle park entry fee of £5.00 and can then park for free for the duration of their visit. They offer groups a range of benefits including a free familiarisation visit for the group organiser who they will then work with to put together specific itineraries.
